Attorney Bradley Yates founded The Yates Firm, LLC in 2014. His firm’s practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice, civil litigation, criminal defense, and real estate. In 2018, Bradley took a three (3) year departure from his firm and practiced with Paul Lawson via Yates & Lawson, LLC. In 2021, Bradley reverted back to The Yates Firm, LLC. Soon thereafter, his wife, Monica Yates, joined the firm. Monica focuses solely on personal injury, medical malpractice, and civil litigation.

Bradley earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and his Juris Doctor degree from the Appalachian School of Law. While in law school, Bradley served as an Honor Court Justice with the Student Bar Association, on the Editorial Board of the Appalachian Natural Resource Law Journal, and was vice president of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity and Environmental Law Society. In addition, Bradley served as a Law Clerk with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington D.C. After graduating from law school and passing the South Carolina Bar Exam, Bradley moved back to his hometown of Conway, SC.

Prior to starting The Yates Firm, LLC, Bradley served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Michael G. Nettles in the South Carolina Circuit Court.

Bradley is admitted to practice in all South Carolina Courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.

When Bradley is not in the office, he resides and spends time with his wife, their son, and their golden retriever in Conway, SC. Bradley also enjoys fishing, hunting, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
